Hello everyone, sorry we just started writing. Today we spent a great day with Robbie. He is a gentleman to his core no matter his condition. Whatever we did with him he was always concerned for us. Robbie wanted a hamburger for lunch today and while eating was concerned that we eat too. We watched DVDs and he made sure we both could see the player and were comfortable. The aamazing thing is that in his condition he still has humor and remembers to be thoughtful and polite at all times. He struggles to complete sentences but is expressive none the less. Robbie is a bit restless and wants out of this bed and to spring into action. Of course we all want that too. We read all your beautiful letters to him and he enjoyed reading them himself as well. Please continue to write and send pictures in the mail he seems to enjoy it very much. Hedi is reminding me to tell you all that Robbie wanted to wear something formal to dinner tonight. He is ready to get rid of the hospital gown and be that dashing man we all know. Tonight Robbie was moved out of ICU and is on his way to rehab soon. How he manages to be gracious and warm throughout this ordeal is inspirational. We are spending the night with Robbie in his new room in case he gets disoriented in the night and will update the blog tomorrow.
