Home sweet home

Hi
Yesterday we flew with Robbie back to Florida. Robbie is so happy to be out of CIR!!!, there was a look of relief on his face when we left yesterday. A big thanks to Dr.'s Hammond/Denison, Head RN Tammy and the therapists at CIR especially Heather Smith. We all benefitted from their knowledge, experience, and suggestions.
Today he is meeting with several Dr.s to map out his outpatient needs. He will return to Charlotte March 22nd for a follow up with Dr. Adamson.

When I brought up CIR at dinner last night, Robbie made a face and comented "moving forward" which seems to be his mantra, he knows he suffered a brain injury may not re-collect specifics but his attitude is not to get caught up in what has happened but to move forward.

Please let us know if you will be in Florida. Robbie can go out for a few hours during the day and for dinner, and though he has to take it easy right now, he isn't bed ridden. Getting out a couple of hours a day is good for him and for us.

Anyway thanks again to everyone for getting us to this point.
