  1. Robbie, my friend,
I am praying for you, we all are: your Miami Beach Granola Gang + so many others you have known and touched in your life & travels. I know you can hear and feel all of us. Please enjoy yourself on the other side for now BUT come back to us! We all have faith in you and there are a lot of us! Feel it! You are loved and cared for like no one else right now!
The updates from Arnie & Matt are precious. We are all hanging on by every email & blog post! You are angels!

    Stories here:
    1. After summer break 84'? finding out out you smoked cigarettes on the 41st St. bridge (you had a pack in your shirt pocket, while riding your bike!). I was appalled, who knew that was just the beginning of a wild teen life together in MB!
Beach High, Aimee's house, Fisher Park, 41st St. Beach, Your PROM party: sushi & champagne fountain, our NYC days, your world travels, always keeping in touch! I have so many fun and wonderful memories!
    2. You are THE life of the partee! You are the one who made sure we showed in masses to our 20th Beach High reunion! It was just 4 months ago! What a time! We have amazing photos + video (thanks to BB!) as proof!
    The Granola Gang lives!
    We love you Robbie!

  2. A HEALING BLESSING FOR ROBBIE

May you be surrounded in comfort.
May you be filled with love.
May you feel the healing presence of those who hold you in their thoughts & prayers.
May these positive thoughts and blessings provide you with strength.
May you be sustained in health as you continue in your healing journey.
May you continue to heal moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, knowing that so many love you.

  3. Still I Rise

You may write me down in history
    With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

    Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
    Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
    With the certainty of tides,
    Just like hopes springing high,
    Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
    Bowed head and lowered eyes?
    Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
    Weakened by my soulful cries.

    Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

    Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
    I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
    I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
    I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
    I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
    I rise

    I rise
    I rise.

  4. Robbie,

Great news on the latest update. We all missed you in Orlando Wednesday and Thursday but you were certainly there in spirit. Brian France led a special toast to you on Wednesday night and everyone raised their glass to a speedy recovery for you.

Thought you would like to know that as Jim Cassidy and I recapped the meeting yesterday we were missing the "fighter and go getter attitude" you always bring. It is missed and we certainly need you back to keep pushing us all. Keep making progress, if there is anyone we know that will put everything he has into getting back on his feet it is you! We are all thinking about you and saying our prayers.
