Robbie Update 8P 1/25

We all got to spend a good amount of time with Robbie today and he is doing better. The doctor told us that Robbie is hitting his benchmarks and has made a lot of progress from where he was when they brought him in.

He regularly opens his eyes and will reach for your hand if you are nearby. He clearly wants to get up and out of bed and you have to kind of get him to lie still. He is still being fairly heavily medicated and is still on the ventilator so he is not able to talk.

Unfortunately he has a bit of something in his lungs and is continuing to run between normal temp and 101, however, the doctors are giving him an antibiotic cocktail and tylenol which seems to be doing the trick.

The plan is to ween him off the ventilator in a couple of days and then evaluate how long to keep him in the ICU by the end of the week.

Keep Robbie in your thoughts and please do leave comments so he can go back and read everything later.
